ACADEMIC WORK

These projects are from subjects of various disciplines in regards to design. The projects are listed in a chronological order.

2021

01 Modular Typeface

Designed original modular typeface including the alphabet from A-Z and numbers 1-10. The modular typeface is then developed further on computer.

Music Band Branding

Used the original modular typeface to create a set of A-format posters (A1 or A0) and applied to various media of chosen music band.

2022

Queen Victoria Garden Pavilion

Designed a pavilion in the Queen Victoria Garden - location is the same as per the annual M-Pavilion. A theme is chosen to base the pavilion design on.

Film -> Book

This mark making book is based on an original film inspired by In Praise of Shadows. It is not in a conventional book format. I took the ideas in my film, use the images, the concepts, the text, and made these into a unique book.

NGV Poster + Book Jacket

Designed ideas for a series of limited-edition posters and book jacket based on artwork in the 20th Century collection of NGV.

A->B

It is a visual response and a map of my journey through colour. I expressed the changes in colour(or the collections of colour) in one specific context (overtime) in the form of an magazine.

Colour in Context

The creative response of utilising colour in a specific context, based on the quote "Colour is stronger than language" – Louise Bourgeois, 1992.

Sony Brand Refresh

I re-design the colour branding for a famous brand. This colour palette refresh is applied to its’ logo and brand collateral (type and images connected to this brand, and images of the brand and its’ new colour as applied). The brand is refreshed with a colour palette that I designed.

Metamorphoses Costume

One of the characters from the play was chosen, and designed an appropriate response to that character. In addition to choosing the character, a genre is also nominated for the proposal.

Tracking Application

In collaboration with my peers, the interfaces of a tracking application were designed and thus, a high-fidelity prototype is produced.
