01 Modular Typeface
The height of each section in each letter decreases by half as moving from bottom to top. It conveys a sense of fading and disappearing. The ‘fading’ is vertical in order to not disrupt the balance and symmetry of the typeface.
Half Life
I have named the typeface as “Half Life” because how each section’s height halves itself from bottom to top, just like how for chemistry terms, it is used to describe the time required for radioactive material to decrease by one-half. I wanted to express the ephemerality of words.
